The Builder's Association rethinks Puerto Rico

The association will hold its annual convention next Thursday, November 9, with a focus on the current Puerto Rico after this turbulent hurricane season. Testimonials and lessons from past catastrophic events will be shared, such as Katrina's in 2005. Sonya Mays, president of Develop Detroit, will also present a case study on the development of Michigan's metropolis and many more relevent facts.

In my opinion, this event invites us to reflect on our decisions and actions and it will provide essential tools to begin building a better future for our island. The association told El Nuevo Día that they are determined to continue cultivating trust, to educate and inform before anything so we can avoid a domino effect. I strongly encourage everyone interested to attend and be part of it.

Real change must come from within ourselves!
